Shari
Johnson
Shari Johnson joined The Land Conservancy of New Jersey in
December 2006 as Project Manager. She works closely with
our Land Preservation Team to coordinate all of the due
diligence for our land projects, including management of
appraisals, title insurance, surveys, and environmental
assessments. In addition, Shari oversees the
Conservancy’s technology software and hardware systems.
Under her careful supervision, the Conservancy’s
information system is now state-of-the art and meets the
needs of a growing organization. She also serves as The
Land Conservancy’s representative to the New Jersey Land
Trust Rally, a statewide meeting held in March to
educate land conservationists throughout the state.
Shari excels in project management, organizational
planning, communication, finance and problem solving.
Prior to joining TLC-NJ she managed the operations and
sales of her family’s printing business in Denville for
nine years. Previous to this she held positions in the
legal and financial industries. Shari brings with her a
passion for conservation and environmental preservation
which were inspired by her participation and education
of environmental issues at the local, community level.
For many years she has been an active volunteer with a
variety of environmental and civic organizations and
currently serves as a board member and recording
secretary for the Denville Chamber of Commerce as well
as the Holiday Event Committee Chairperson.
Shari earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political
Science at Kutztown University in Kutztown,
Pennsylvania.
