Shari
Johnson
Shari Johnson joined The Land Conservancy of New Jersey in
December 2006 as Project Manager. She is our System
Administrator managing all facets of our technology and
has improved business functionality as well as staff
efficiency utilizing state-of-the art equipment and
software programs. She also works closely with our Land
Preservation Team and coordinates all of the due
diligence for our land projects, including management of
appraisals, title insurance, surveys, and environmental
assessments.
As The Land Conservancy’s representative, she is an
active member of the New Jersey Land Conservation Rally
committee. This committee plans and hosts an annual
statewide training and networking event attended by over
350 professionals, volunteers and students working to
preserve open space and farmland throughout New Jersey.
Shari brings with her a passion for conservation and
environmental preservation which were inspired by her
participation and education of environmental issues at
the local, community level. For many years she has been
an active volunteer with a variety of environmental and
civic organizations. She currently serves as a board
member and Secretary for the Denville Chamber of
Commerce and is the former Holiday Event Committee
Chairperson.
Prior to joining TLC-NJ she managed the operations of
her family’s printing business and held positions in the
legal and financial industries.
Shari earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political
Science at Kutztown University in Kutztown,
Pennsylvania.
