About the event
Learn about the native plants, birds, and other flora and fauna with our resident biologist Linda, who will lead us on a guided hike through Nancy Conger West Brook Preserve. In 2020 The Land Conservancy completed a major restoration of the West Brook, which feeds the Wanaque Reservoir. The brook will soon be an ideal environment for the disappearing native brook trout.
The trail is somewhat rough through woodlands and wetlands with some minor elevation changes. This event is free and family friendly.
