A few months ago, we asked you how The Land Conservancy of New Jersey can better serve and communicate with our supporters. Thank you to everyone who took the time to fill out the survey. Our team reviewed every response, and we are using your feedback to shape our actions moving forward.
Here's what we learned:
Our members are passionate about our mission. They would like to see more local programs showcasing our work, and opportunities to engage with us as volunteers.
When communicating with us, they prefer digital means, namely email. They are looking for content like personal spotlights and animal features from our preserves, as well as information on future plans in their areas.
When donating, they are confident in our organization to use it where it is needed most, they are leaning toward online donation as the preferred method.
Folks who have not yet become members often found out about us through similar initiatives (Highlands Coalition, other conservancies, like-minded friends, etc.)
We are very grateful to our members and supporters, your passion for land preservation allows us to continue our work at a critical time for our environment.
We will be conducting these surveys periodically so that we can keep up with our base and connect with you in more meaningful ways. Again, thank you for your valuable feedback, and thank you for continuing to be an advocate for NJ green spaces!
