Morgan is in a five-year program at Rutgers University New Brunswick. For her undergraduate, she studies Geography and her master’s degree is in City and Regional Planning.

She is a member of her hometown’s Rancocas Creek Association, that focuses on the health and preservation of the Rancocas Creek. She is also involved in the Rutgers Undergraduate Geography Society,  and enjoys hiking and kayaking in her free time.

At the Land Conservancy, Morgan has been researching and assisting with a flood acquisition plan for Ridgewood.

“I chose to intern here because I am very passionate about open space preservation. In the future I would like to become an environmental planner,” said Morgan.

We are deeply humbled to occupy the land of the native Munsee Lenape.

The Land Conservancy of New Jersey acknowledges Indigenous Peoples as the traditional stewards of the land, and the enduring relationship that exists between them and their traditional territories. The land on which our headquarters sit is the traditional unceded territory of the Munsee Lenape Nation. We also work to preserve land in the traditional territories of the Lenape Haki-nk (Lenni-Lenape) and the Ramapough Lenape Nation.
