The Land Conservancy of New Jersey is delighted to welcome Julia Flath, our new Membership Manager. Julia brings more than a decade of fundraising experience for environmental and cultural nonprofits in New York City. At the Rainforest Alliance, she held roles in Membership, Major Gifts & Fundraising Operations, similar to her work for TLCNJ.

Now living in New Jersey, she is committed to environmental citizenship. As a champion for sustainable transportation, she founded a local bicycle and pedestrian advocacy group, and her family rides the “bike bus” to school. She’s also an active school PTA and green team member.

Julia says: “Working for The Land Conservancy brings together my interests in sustainability, ensuring access to nature, and municipal planning. As we look to the future, it’s so important to help New Jersey communities be good stewards of our open space and environmental resources. After a professional hiatus focusing on volunteering, I’m excited to use my fundraising operations skills again to support conservation.”

We're so happy to have you on board, Julia!

We are deeply humbled to occupy the land of the native Munsee Lenape.

The Land Conservancy of New Jersey acknowledges Indigenous Peoples as the traditional stewards of the land, and the enduring relationship that exists between them and their traditional territories. The land on which our headquarters sit is the traditional unceded territory of the Munsee Lenape Nation. We also work to preserve land in the traditional territories of the Lenape Haki-nk (Lenni-Lenape) and the Ramapough Lenape Nation.
