Let's hear it for our new Donor Relations Manager, Linda Beck!

Linda Beck grew up on a farm in the hills of Virginia. She spent decades working as a producer in the animation industry, but her real passion is for environmental advocacy and stewardship. Linda has served as South Orange Environmental Commission Chair and led stewardship efforts in the form of cleanups, invasive plant battles, and native plantings. She also co-founded the Meadowland Park Conservancy to improve and enhance South Orange’s 45 acres of green space and increase community engagement.

Linda is happy to be following a new professional path helping to ensure that future generations have a reason to go outside and explore and a place to do so. She says, “Wouldn’t it be nice if every single kid and adult in New Jersey (and in the U.S.!) had a nearby place to ‘get lost’ for a bit?”

Our team is looking forward to working with you, Linda!

We are deeply humbled to occupy the land of the native Munsee Lenape.

The Land Conservancy of New Jersey acknowledges Indigenous Peoples as the traditional stewards of the land, and the enduring relationship that exists between them and their traditional territories. The land on which our headquarters sit is the traditional unceded territory of the Munsee Lenape Nation. We also work to preserve land in the traditional territories of the Lenape Haki-nk (Lenni-Lenape) and the Ramapough Lenape Nation.
