It's the 28th Annual World Series of Birding! This annual event sponsored by the NJ Audubon Society to help New Jersey environmental organizations raise money for conservation. Our skilled team of expert birders, the Highland Hawks, will identify as many species of birds as possible in 24 hours. In the past, top-placing teams have recorded over 200 species in the state—over 1/3 of all the species in North America.

You can pledge your support to help us continue protecting natural resources and special places in New Jersey where great horned owls and bluebirds thrive (like this one Dennis snapped at the Kittatinny Ridge).

If you'd like to pledge per bird instead of making a donation now, contact Breanna Durkin at bdurkin@tlc-nj.org.

We are deeply humbled to occupy the land of the native Munsee Lenape.

The Land Conservancy of New Jersey acknowledges Indigenous Peoples as the traditional stewards of the land, and the enduring relationship that exists between them and their traditional territories. The land on which our headquarters sit is the traditional unceded territory of the Munsee Lenape Nation. We also work to preserve land in the traditional territories of the Lenape Haki-nk (Lenni-Lenape) and the Ramapough Lenape Nation.
