Say hello to Heather Korzun, TLCNJ’s new planning fellow! Born and raised in Virginia, Heather is now living in Philadelphia while pursuing a master’s degree in public administration at the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, Heather enjoy pursuing various artistic projects, working out, and keeping up with friends and family across Virginia.

Heather says, “Joining The Land Conservancy aligns perfectly with my commitment to identifying and implementing effective strategies for environmental sustainability. I am eager to collaborate and further TLCNJ’s mission, and I’m thrilled to join such a dedicated and passionate team.”

Heather has already shown herself to be a great addition to our team, and we’re lucky to have her on board to help with the many projects our planning staff is juggling this year.

We are deeply humbled to occupy the land of the native Munsee Lenape.

The Land Conservancy of New Jersey acknowledges Indigenous Peoples as the traditional stewards of the land, and the enduring relationship that exists between them and their traditional territories. The land on which our headquarters sit is the traditional unceded territory of the Munsee Lenape Nation. We also work to preserve land in the traditional territories of the Lenape Haki-nk (Lenni-Lenape) and the Ramapough Lenape Nation.
