We are tremendously grateful to welcome Joy Wenberg as our new bookkeeper. For the past few months, she's been has been getting to know our system and putting our finances in order, and that makes all of our jobs easier!

Joy has been bookkeeping for educational and environmental nonprofit organizations for eight years and attributes her success to her time spent wearing the many hats of a volunteer. Her prior experience in budgeting, fundraising, and grant writing informs her work when supporting members of the TLCNJ team. Joy is an avid gardener and member of her local school board.

She says, I am so proud to be a part of the dedicated team at TLCNJ, working to preserve and protect New Jersey's open space for future generations to learn from and enjoy."

We are deeply humbled to occupy the land of the native Munsee Lenape.

The Land Conservancy of New Jersey acknowledges Indigenous Peoples as the traditional stewards of the land, and the enduring relationship that exists between them and their traditional territories. The land on which our headquarters sit is the traditional unceded territory of the Munsee Lenape Nation. We also work to preserve land in the traditional territories of the Lenape Haki-nk (Lenni-Lenape) and the Ramapough Lenape Nation.
