Please help us welcome new planning intern Ethan Wissler. He is working on an Open Space Plan for Bergen County--important work indeed!

Ethan is a graduate student at the UA College of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture, pursuing a dual master’s in landscape architecture and city planning. Before that, he researched sea level rise adaptation planning at Cornell. Evan enjoys bicycling, playing with his two rabbits, and experimenting with machine learning.

He hopes to use his time at TLCNJ to better understand the planning process and help protect New Jersey’s valuable cultural and natural resources.

We are deeply humbled to occupy the land of the native Munsee Lenape.

The Land Conservancy of New Jersey acknowledges Indigenous Peoples as the traditional stewards of the land, and the enduring relationship that exists between them and their traditional territories. The land on which our headquarters sit is the traditional unceded territory of the Munsee Lenape Nation. We also work to preserve land in the traditional territories of the Lenape Haki-nk (Lenni-Lenape) and the Ramapough Lenape Nation.
